    We are bombarded with toxins in our modern world on a daily basis. Even living the most non-toxic life you possibly can, you will still likely encounter toxins in your environment and diet. As a breastfeeding mom, it is important to prevent toxin accumulation in the body. When our bodies become overloaded with toxins and our detox pathways are overwhelmed, this is when toxins may enter the breastmilk. This is why it is so important to optimize your detox pathways and gut health, as well as utilize targeted detox protocols while breastfeeding, when necessary.



  • Gently Detox with your baby:

    Via breastmilk, your breastfeeding baby will receive ~1-3% of any herbal or supplement regimen you ingest, delivering a “microdose” to your baby in the exact dose that may benefit their health. The human body is brilliantly and intelligently designed and knows exactly what it is doing – without us telling it to.

Your body is always detoxing – yes, even while you are pregnant and even while you are breastfeeding. You have many detox pathways in your body to help your body continually self-cleanse – your liver, your lymphatic system, your digestive system, your skin, your kidneys, and more… the body is an intricate whole design, and each and every system within it work seamlessly together.

Not only is your body self-cleansing by continually detoxing, it is also regenerative! Your cells are constantly renewing and your body will always trend towards healing when you remove interference getting in it’s way.

There are many ways to safely and gently incorporate methods of detox into your daily routine as a pregnant or breastfeeding mother. There are also ways to do more targeted methods of detoxing when experiencing toxin overload in the body or imbalances such as candida or parasitic overgrowth – safely – even while breastfeeding.

What’s important to understand is that everything inside your body – including parasites – serves a purpose. Due to increasing amounts of toxin exposure from our modern environment and diet, sometimes the very delicate balance of the bodily systems may get out of balance. Situations in which women may be interested in a targeted detox protocol may include: candida overgrowth, parasitic overgrowth, heavy metal toxicity concerns, mycotoxin (mold) exposure, or a desire to detox from pharmaceuticals like hormonal birth control or vaccinations.

Every situation is unique and nuanced, and as such, recommendations vary greatly from person to person. Ultimately, it will always be up to you which/how many options you would like to pursue from my protocol recommendations. On average, you can expect to spend anywhere from $50 – $250, depending on your unique needs.

My Detox While Breastfeeding Story

When my daughter was born with and experienced multiple yeast-related issues in the first 6 months of her life, I applied my decade of holistic health knowledge and experience with detox to our situation.
